How a Brisbane driving school cut admin time and simplified bookings with a fresh new website

When Kim purchased Double D Driving School from its original owner, Dave, in 2024, she stepped into a thriving local business with a loyal following across Brisbane’s eastern suburbs. 

But with every new chapter comes fresh challenges and the need to adapt.

For over 20 years, Dave had run the business and managed bookings manually over the phone, a system that worked well for him, but needed updating as the business grew. 

Kim wanted a solution that would streamline operations, reduce admin hours, and reflect her vision for a modern, student-friendly driving school.

The challenge

Our approach

We started by reviewing the most popular online booking systems to find one that would best meet Kim’s needs, balancing simplicity, reliability, and ease of use. 

Once we found the best fit that offered a seamlessly reliable experience for both students and instructors, we fully integrated the system into a custom-built, mobile-friendly website that allows lessons to be booked and paid for upfront with just a few clicks. 

Double D Driving School has been a successful local business for over 20 years in Brisbane, and they already had a strong presence on Facebook, featuring excellent reviews and a rich image library. To make sure Double D’s trusted reputation stayed front and centre, we linked their Facebook gallery and five-star reviews, so their social proof naturally shines through on the new website.

Finally, we brought it all together with a fresh, on-brand design that is modern, approachable, and cohesive with the school’s car graphics and colour palette.
